Sweaty Flow

a short story on Candy Jar Publishing's website
This one's got an odd title, hasn't it? Well, it's an odd little story. The head honcho at Candy Jar, Shaun Russell (a fine fellow, by the way) came to me and asked me to do a story in a particular style and with a particular influence. So that's exactly what I did. And you know what? I really like it and I think it works. If you know your comedy history, you'll recognise the hotelier's name. You're definitely going to recognise who he influenced. As for the cover here... it's soooooo 1970s, it really took me back. To the young who are reading... yes, we really did have wallpaper like that. Go watch Life on Mars if you don't believe me. We had something kind of smilar in the kitchen - the pattern and the green were similar in both the kitchen and the bathroom. There was brown in the kitchen pattern as well, though slightly more muted than this. Aaaaah, nostalgia...
